Hello! My name is Kristen Goetzinger-Shorland, and I am thrilled to be part of this compassionate community dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. I have been happily married for almost 32 years and am a proud mother of two wonderful daughters. My family is my greatest joy, and I cherish every moment spent with them, whether we're traveling to new destinations or simply enjoying time together at home.

With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have a profound passion for nursing and a deep commitment to providing exceptional care. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals in various healthcare settings, and I am excited to bring that experience to our Adult Foster Care home.

I believe in fostering a warm, supportive environment where our residents feel valued and respected.

Outside of my professional life, I am an avid animal lover, with a special fondness for dogs and horses. Spending time with these amazing creatures brings me immense joy and tranquility. I also love to play games and sports. Having lived in Lapeer County for most of my life, I have a strong connection to this community - we are all family here. I look forward to working closely with our residents and their families. I am dedicated to ensuring that everyone feels at home in our care, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
